I've done @170 flights a year for 20 years now. Duct tape is nothing new. Its legal to carry on and easier to use as a restraint. I've personally witnessed someone have their arms and legs taped, but never torso and mouth. But, I would pay extra to sit across the aisle. I can't help but be curious on what the hell was going on in her head.
