While I put the Bible 1st as truth in all matters, and do study what is considered mainstream Christian paths of study, reading the usual books and historical narratives accepted and approved by mainstream scholars, I think it is folly to ignore or even shun all the other works there are out there regarding Biblical subjects that we have so little information on. There is undeniable mountains of historical, archeological, and geological artifacts and evidence showing we are missing a huge part of the earths' and mankinds past. Why the ancient books and stories there are available now that shed light on these times and events aren't even considered still in most Christian and other circles Ill never understand. While if anything says contrary to what is in the Bible I obviously discard it, but when there are times and events hidden in the past that are relevant today, and we have the books and stories claiming to describe and explain them with authority, and they fit right into what we know is truth as described Gods Word, and have the promise of all things being revealed, I think its a mistake to ignore all that we have now just because some people, that don't even know where they actually live, said so.
