Jacob is interesting because he decieves his father via his mother.
Eve takes via Adam. Jacob goes into the desert like Moses. He gets to a well with a shepherdess. Like Moses. Jacob is himself decieved. He desires an outwardly beautiful woman and marries an outwardly less beautiful woman who is inwardly beautiful and Jacob then hangs on to marry the his original desire. He then lives with good and evil which he has married into. He fights and wrestles with his thoughts until he comes to the truth. Jacob has been running away from God and himself so God hamstrings him so that he is forced to look at realty. Once he does this, God renames Jacob Isreal and he crosses over the river.
Isreal stands for thinking in truth.
The sheep and goats are white and mottled. He sorts and divides the flock. He is collecting and feeding thought that he has to manage.
