This is why the law is important..not to be legalistic braggarts but to know HOW to follow in the walk of Yeshua. Paul tells us the transgression of law is sin and we are to turn from it. Yeshua fulfilled the law perfectectly so men were no longer under the yoke of it but under the Grace of his fulfillment. Torah is a path of pleasantness and life to live and strive towards a Yeshua like life, not a list for us to fail, but an aspiration of loving obedience…we are saved for Him, to Him…Hallelujah. We can commit ourselves to our spouses but it is how we interact that makes the marriage..a vow without loyalty is empty and how much more is that true for our creator. The Bible, in Proverbs, warns us all that there is a way that seems right to men but it leads to death. Blessings to all in His Holy Name, Yeshua.
