It doesn't feel like a lot has changed since the 1990s technologically (socially is another story, we've socially progressed, and regressed, in such extreme ways, it's like the 90s never even happened). We still have biological disasters, we still have nuclear plant disasters, there were computers and internet and PDAs in the 90s, but now they're all-in-one devices? That sure was an incredible breakthrough back in 2007
