You used to get democrats from Farmers but the democrat party never asked why they left.
A good call Joe. Farmers and teacher need to be given a higher profile. Many former WWII veterans aspired to become teachers. I'm sure Captain Dick Winters mentions this in Stephen Ambrose's book 'Band of Brothers'. With all the trauma they went through, I guess they wanted to change the world for the better. Sadly, and I experienced it, the social justice movements have taken over tertiary education in many western countries. That and the celebrity culture that seems to be the dominating factor in many young minds now. Hence, the little value society places on education and its worth.
Farming and teaching are too obtainable of skills to be worthy of being the top one percent. There is way too high of a possible supply for this model to be sufficient.
Teachers are not under paid good teachers are under paid. And very few teachers are good at what they do
I like Joe but he's seriously underestimating farmers here. He talks like they are some sheltered people who don't understand how the rest of the world works. They deserve a lot more credit than that. Stop trying to explain why they're wrong for being Republicans.
