Often I hear you have zero evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ, well one of strongest pieces of evidences we use in 2016 is the testimony of an eye witness account. Furthermore, in 1 Corinthians 15 over 500 people saw the risen Saviour so as C.S Lewis said was Jesus a liar, lunatic or Lord?
heck out the stories of Simon the zealot, James son of Alphaeus, Luke, Barnabas, Thomas, Bartholomew, Jude, Peter, Mark, Andrew, Mattias, James (Jesus’ brother), Philip and Stephen. Real people, who were real eyewitnesses of the resurrection!

First of all, how do you KNOW that there were actually 500 people who saw the risen Jesus after he died? Where are the 500 testimonies? Afaik, we only have Paul who wrote that 500 people saw the risen Jesus after he died. So the question is why Paul would make that up. The answer is pretty simple imho. He wanted to spread the Christian faith. If you think I'm wrong, I challenge you to present me the 500 testimonies.
One book claim that there were 500 witnesses, is not impressive. 500 independent claims, now that maybe more impressive.
'Scientifically we know someone can't die for something they believe to be a lie' Where's the evidence? List your sources. What is they don't know it to be a lie? They could have been convinced by friends, misunderstood or been under the influence of alcohol or a hallucinatory drug.
Premise 1. The Christian God, if it existed in reality, would answer prayers as described in the bible.
Premise 2. In reality, prayers are not answered as described.
Conclusion: the Christian God does not exist in reality.

[By the way, as a theist you are well-placed to test empirically premise 2. Simply ask for something that would be impossible without the existence of God (such prayers are explicitly mentioned in the Bible).
