We do not command the power of God's command. Rather, God gives us awareness through our connecting each other here on Earth.
The power that God holds out, we recieve and hold onto through developing thought connections. The bigger the mind, the more connections and the more power or energy is stored within the connections. Withdraw energy and the mind does not think. Connect the mind of Earth (us) to the mind of God through his son (creation) and the mind can be given truths that can be understood by our awareness of concepts. Parables etc. The earth is a collection of ideas. We can connect these ideas with Gods truth and the world will grow or ascend. You can pick and choose ideas which suit your service rather than Gods or the community. Self thought without truth.
The nations of the world fight for dominance of the power the peoples minds hold. Like children stealing sweets dictators take and control the energy of others for self pleasure.
Judas had the power of the purse strings. Judas was annoyed that the power of God was not freeing Isreal of the Roman power. We all desire that God will come and destroy evil. Judas wanted the same. Most of the money judas had was given by wealthy people. He knew power that was political, civil and spiritual.
We condemn Judas and demand what he wanted. Judas set the High priest and Jesus against each other. Surely God would take over and set things right. He tempted God to take over and set right what he manipulated. If Judas had not of loved Jesus he would not have felt guilty. When our mind makes assumptions that are false, we feel guilty of thinking badly. As the mob cried out against Jesus, so the mob then cries out against Judas. The predator seeking out individuals while the crowd cheers because it isnt them that is going to be eaten.
The Earth has bad Ideas and good ideas. We pick ideas as if fruit from a tree and taste them. We can do this with a guardian or own your own. Wisdom is knowledge used correctly.
It is impossible for a demon, even Satan, to override a man's free will. Judas needed to cooperate with Satan to be thus used, and he did for his own reasons, not necessarily for Satan's reasons, but the will to act lined up with the devil so he carried it out with the added impetus of Satan's own power to tempt.
When Jesus chose his twelve apostles, Judas was a good man, for Jesus would NOT have chosen someone who was already corrupt, just as Saul was not corrupt when he was selected as Israel's first king, but allowed his heart to turn treacherous.(1 Sam 8:22; 10:1; 13:1-13; 18:1-9; see Prov 25:26 that says: "Like a muddied spring and a ruined well is a righteous person who gives in to a wicked one")
Over the course of Jesus 3 1/2 year ministry, Judas began to do as James 1:13-15 states: "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn sin, when it has been carried out, brings forth death."
At John 13:1, 2, it makes this clear, saying: "Now because he knew before the festival of the Passover that his hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father, Jesus, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end. The evening meal was going on, and the Devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Is·carʹi·ot, the son of Simon, to betray him."
Judas Iscariot allowed the love of money to enter his "heart" (which is symbolic seat of motivation or the culmination of all our desires, see Matt 15:19, in which Jesus says that "out of the heart come wicked reasoning……thefts") and take over, so that Satanic thinking took control of him (which is the same as saying that ' Satan entering into Judas ', see John 13:27), for at John 12, after Mary had poured genuine perfumed nard oil on Jesus feet and then wiped it off with her hair, Judas showed his "true colors", saying: "Why was this perfumed oil not sold for 300 de·narʹi·i and given to the poor ?” He said this, though, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief and had the money box and used to steal the money put in it."(John 12:5, 6)
How extensive is Satan's control over the earth, having "entered into people's hearts", causing people to believe falsehoods and do wicked things ? Revelation 12:9, states: "So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the ENTIRE inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him."
Thus, almost everyone on the earth is under Satan's "thumb", including the churches of Christendom, with its religious leaders being "the man of lawlessness" at 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4, who "sits down in the temple of God, publicly showing himself to be a god".
The religious leaders of Christendom are what the apostle Paul wrote at verses 9-12: "But the lawless one’s presence is by the operation of Satan (or Satan has ' entered into their hearts ', causing them to have wicked reasoning), with every powerful work and lying signs and wonders and every unrighteous deception (teaching such falsehoods as "the Holy Trinity", immortality of the soul, hellfire, purgatory, the cross, a clergy class, Christmas, Easter, etc) for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth in order that they might be saved."
"That is why God (whose name is Jehovah, see Isa 12:2, KJV) lets a deceptive influence mislead them (just as Judas Iscariot was) so that they may come to believe the lie (or lies), in order that they all may be judged (adversely) because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness."
Only those who loyally worship Jehovah God are NOT under Satan's control, as Jesus said to his eleven faithful apostles at John 16:33: "I have said these things to you so that by means of me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take courage ! I have conquered the world (or Satan's world or Satanic thinking could NOT conquer Jesus, because Jesus trusted implicitly in Jehovah, see Matt 27:42, 43).”
