The HolySpirit:
Those who have been born again receive the Spirit of the Living God. He or she is now protected spiritually, being covered by the blood of the lamb. The dark forces of the enemy cannot afflict or cause harm to your Spirit, the trueness of who in fact you really are. The body however, the carnality of your being including your mind will however suffer greatly and it will be attacked continually.
Jesus our Lord and savior, God Himself putting on the garment of flesh, was filled with the spirit of the Living God, yet His body suffered greatly.
We war through the spirit, the attacks against the body mentally and physically are the only thing in which the enemy can attack. In this attack you must rightly divide what and where the attack is coming from, and how you let it effect you, these attacks are so complex that it is almost impossible to determine where and how through the flesh, the HolySpirit helps provide the discernment, it is up to us to have our eyes and ears open to rightly understand what we are listening to, and how we perceive the interactions of this world.
The angels in Heaven don't even understand what God is doing with His children on this earth. It is all but a mystery to them. Some of the most faithful of Gods servants are confined to a bed or a wheelchair, or are in constant suffering, however in the spirit they are adorned with the full armor of God, driving back the enemy with the sword of truth and are leaders in Gods Holy army.
Also we are the meek, humble, and lowly in stature. We are not boastful, proud, and arrogant. We do not argue over petty matters or downtrodden fellow brethren. We show compassion, understanding, forgiveness, we uplift and encourage others as we would have others do to us, projecting love and fellowship daily just as the Lord Jesus Christ showed us to.
We are humbled and reverent in being given opportunity in sharing Gods word, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and His overcoming of the flesh, paving the road to salvation with His precious blood and tears leading to everlasting life.
Many do not understand that being born again and receiving the HolySpirit doesn't mean you are never going to sin again, it is why we continually keep our eyes on Christ Jesus, you are not going to become all knowing and invincible, it means you are saved, covered by the precious blood of our Savior, written in the lambs book of life and now have a target on you, the enemy will seek you out trying to hinder you from your mission on this earth, however that target and the persecution that goes along with it will not effect you as you know what the ultimate goal is, being established in the Kingdom of Heaven.
The HolySpirit comes upon you and convicts you of truth. The HolySpirit leads you in the paths of righteousness and you progress in the knowledge of Gods mysteries as they are revealed to you with time, patience, a humbling of yourself. Through this process God wraps you in His armor and you receive the sword of truth.
The power and understanding of the HolySpirit cannot be argued or reasoned with to that of an unbeliever. Jesus redeemed all with open arms through the suffering He endured through the flesh, will we not also suffer the trials of the flesh with our arms open as the Lord said pick up your cross and follow Me. It is about being in the flesh yet living through the spirit and Jesus is the one who opened up the door for this to be accomplished because after His ascension He was seated at the right hand of the Father and Jesus sent to us the HolySpirit.
We are on this earth in a metaphorific state Likened to the children of Israel being led into captivity, so to also have we been led into captivity as this world is ruled over by the fallen ones. We struggle and fight from partaking in the enemies many pleasures that are hung in front of us for our senses to devour, like Daniel, yet he held on to the foundational roots of his forefathers and in looking forward to the cross of our Lord and Savior.
The HolySpirit is the comforter, the restrainer, the barer of Gods truth, the strengthener, the one who feeds the soul of the ones seeking the face of the Lord God in Heaven. The HolySpirit also binds the treasures of God together, you are His treasure and you are bound together with your brothers and sisters as He gathers us under the Tree of Life. The HolySpirit is the flowing rivers of Gods everlasting love flowing in and around His children.
To be born again through the Spirit of Truth is something that can not be explained, argued , or reasoned with to that of an unbeliever, only attempted as we have not the words, at least I don't at this time, only trying to give an answer for so many seeking. The Spirit of God reveals Himself to us in many different and personal ways and this is a small way in which I have been shown. I hope it has made some sense to you who have read this.
This is but a small fraction of the fullness of the HolySpirit as it will take an eternity for us to seek out the full revelation of any of Gods mysteries.
