Mgk is a perfect example of a sell out he used to make strictly rap music but then decided to make more money making rock music also selling out if you have a certain style and the label feels like they want u to change who you are or what you stood for and you go along with it
The first performer to sell-out had to have been the great Eric Clapton. Remember the old Michelob commercial with a slowed-down version of After Midnight? Going to the concert that year I saw two HUGE Michelob banners on either side of the stage as tall as the curtains! I believe Mr Clapton regretted that move of long ago and I still have nothing but undying respect for the man and his music. Peace.
