YouTube dose it because they was first and because they no competition in the beginning, and no one had any idea how to do it, but now they have more then enough that they are unreachable and they have the backing $$$ to shut anyone down that even think of trying it. Right idea and right timing.
I still have never been on Twitter. But in 2008 I was 26 and had a bad ass Sony digital camera/camcorder and uploaded videos to YouTube but did it on my sister's computer and I can't find any of them. One of them was when I got home and was dressed nicely, jumped on my modified lawnmower and flipped it over climbing a hill by my pond. When I flipped it over backwards on me riding it I had a beer in one hand and when it flipped backwards on me I pushed it away from landing on me with one hand and never spilled a drop. The mower would have rolled into the pond but ended up doing a handstand propped up on a China berry tree growing on the water's edge.
