Is your citizenship an idol? How much of your identity is being Christian and how much of it is being Russian/American/Australian/French/Norwegian or whatever country you happened to be born in/grew up in or immigrated to.
Part of the process is stepping out of the world, even though we shall keep on paying taxes, following laws, being good citizens.
Due to refugees here in Europe I've been able to participate in worship and prayer in many different set ups, sometimes not even understanding the language. But Jesus Christ is the same and the Holy Spirit works and acts the same way everywhere. It has indeed given me a grasp of how big Jesus Christ is, how eternal, how powerful.
When we leave we wont be holding a passport in the hand. We have to move on and focuse on the goal, our Lord Jesus Christ.
