This is the sixth episode of a weekly series where Zen Garcia and Rob Skiba partner up to do a line-by-line and verse-by-verse study of Genesis and Enoch from multiple manuscripts. In the following weeks they will also continue discourse by reading and going through chapter-by-chapter verse-by-verse, the Book of Enoch.
In this show Zen and Rob continue their investigation of the Genesis timeline and in particular this evening the sixth day of creation. Zen personally believes that there are two creation stories of humanity in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 and that both are different. The first account being specific to the preadamite peoples who created on the earth were told to go forth be fruitful and multiply and replenish it. These beings were created in couples and multiple races and scattered over the face of the earth while the second account of the formation of Adam has to do more with modern humanity. In this narrative we see that Adam is placed into Paradise and Eve removed from his side later. For those that are interested in the distinctions between these two accounts, there is much evidence brought forth in this show for consideration.

I love that you brought up the animals speaking, as referenced in the Book of Yovelim/Jubilees. I have spent many a morning going over the Creation account, from a lot of different, Biblical supportive literature with my kids, in our morning Devotions, and we have often discussed this passage. Don't you wonder they said??? And, what will they say when we see them again???
In Joseph Lumpkin's version of Jubilees chp. 2 it says this:
27. On that day on which Adam went out from the Garden, he offered as a sweet odor an offering, Frankincense, Incense, and sweet spice, and spices in the morning with the rising sun, from the day when he covered his shame.
28. On that day was closed the mouth of all beasts, and of cattle, and of birds, and of whatever walks, and of whatever moves, so that they could no longer speak, for they had all spoken one with another with one dialect and with one language.
29. All flesh that was in the Garden of Eden He sent out of the Garden of Eden, and all flesh was scattered according to its kinds, and according to its types to the places that had been created for them.
30. Of all the beasts and cattle only Adam alone He gave the ability to cover his shame.
31. Because of this, it is prescribed on the heavenly tablets as touching all those who know the judgement of the law, that they should cover their shame, and should not uncover themselves as the Gentiles uncover themselves.
Can you imagine how HORRIBLE THAT DAY must have been???!!!!!! I want to cry just thinking about it! The animals have suffered so much, as we humans have too. Imagine if we were not able to speak…
I'm so thankful that we were given the gift of repentance and use of our voices. We are able to PROCLAIM in all different languages and tongues, PRAISE AND GLORY TO OUR AWESOME CREATOR FOREVERMORE!!!! HE IS GOOD, AND HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOREVER!
