  1. Thank God for the insights and information He has given me already, while, at the moment I'm 20 years old.. It's going to be a challenge to blend in with the rest when I will join a 'student association' this september (which is titled Christian though) while I will have to say 'no' to certain things which are to come on my path in there (while it is Christian, it is in some ways still a typical 'student association'). On one side I have the great value and desire of my faith and relationship with God and on the other side I have the great value and desire to create a 'social network' around me for the first time in around 10 years, with friendships which hopefully will grow big. It's going to be a challenge to not fall in temptation while not disturbing the growth of friendships too much… May God give me the wisdom at the right time in the right moments.

  2. It was funny how I was thinking about death today, I was pondering that the day we die will feel almost identical to our best of days, with perhaps instead of comfort, pain may take it's place, but other than that it was seem timely present just like today does.

  3. Time. God has given us time here on earth. Some more than others and we know not how much time we have. You understand this, but it is probably the one most ignored thing by humans.

Like your Mum, I too blinked and am now old. The way I look at it is when you’re let’s say five, one year is 20% of your life. When you’re 60, one year is much much less. It is kind of a perspective thing. Bottom line is time passes much faster than we realize and time that is spent is just that, spent and gone.

And yes, I have thought about retirement in just the motif that you mentioned. Kick back and enjoy life. But, that is not what my father wants. I am very close to that point where I can spend my time as I wish. May I not spend that time for me, but for him because before, I had obligations, now I have none other than him and that should be all that counts.

Humor time…. 17:51 Zacchaeus, I am coming to your house for TEA!? Sounds like a British thing to me LOL. Sorry, I had to laugh but I know what you were driving at. Jesus didn’t come for the righteous, he came for the sinners and more so those who recognized themselves as sinners.

Yes Joe, we have plenty of time to come to Christ….NOT! (like you said) I do believe that you said that is a great lie of Satan that leads many to their eternal death. No one, I repeat no one knows how much time they have left. (Okay, there may be those on the edge, but they didn’t know that in the near past) We may all know how much money we have left right now, and what we might need to retire, but tomorrow might be the end for anyone of us.
