Thanks for the video. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I would just add and clarify that we wholeheartedly believe Christ does all the saving. Our works do not save us or add one drop of salvation. We rely on Christ and his merits. I would also say that if we were to die this very minute we would be saved. I'm surprised the missionaries did not say that. Also, I would add that the Book of Mormon is God's revealed word today, that it was prepared by the Savior to be an added witness to the Bible in these last days and that they do mesh together because they both are God's absolute word. We believe in an ongoing restoration and that the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ will culminate in his second coming and millennial reign. We are excited for that day and hope for it and prepare for it. Also, I don't like to be called Mormon because it's a nickname our critics gave to us and in reality we see ourselves as Christians. Not Christians in the sense of a Catholic or protestant Christian movement but rather as Christians who worship and follow Christ and his teachings. We see ourselves as his followers. And we love him. Thanks again for sharing the video.
I also left the LDS Church and I agree 100% in everything you said. From my experience, the book of Mormon is definitely focused on.

Any religion that does not believe in consequences for their sin is a cult. If you think that you were a sinner when you died and have not accepted Jesus Christ into your heart as your lord and savior and that you will just spend time being taught the gospel and the afterlife after you die to ensure that you don't go to hell you are sorely mistaken once your earthly body is dead it is too late if you die while you are dead you will remain dead if you do not have the Holy Spirit living inside of you if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and the one true way to reach salvation then you my friend are dead though you walk amongst us.
Their logic is entirely flawed
