A very contradictory story in more than one way. God is lying to Ahab by having the lying spirit lie to ahabs prophets and Micaiah (technically condoning it and lying in proxy) It’s just that Micaiah told ahab the truth after ahab called him out. Also why is God asking the spirits “Which one of you will entice ahab?” Don’t you know aren’t you God? What does God need with a starship?
Conclusion: God gets to do whatever he wants because he's all-powerful
