The thing is Christ had already told the disciples they were going to the other side of the sea, so they should’ve had the faith to know what He said would come to pass but they let fear diminish their faith.

Very interesting. Hush, be stilled, and muzzle are not what you would tell the wind which is blowing, but rather someone who was talking. This seems to be rebuking words in some way.
I'm sure there was more to the story. Perhaps the demons warned the towns folk ahead of time that Jesus was coming (after he made it through the storm that they probably caused), but the towns people didn't want nothing to do with it. So the Legion got even with the town and slaughtered thier pigs. If you take something from me, I will take many times more from you mentality. Hit them in their pocketbook or belly. Then the towns people mustered their courage and asked Jesus and his disciples to leave. These were Jewish people, they shouldn't have been farming pigs ….even for profit, it was something forbidden by the Mosaic law for them to eat. Unclean. So the unclean spirits went into the unclean animals. It was a show of destructive power. These Jews might have been serving baal who promised them prosperity and when baal asked something back (quid pro quid) … we'll that didn't happen and so he took away the prosperity.

Since 'Demons' are Fallen Angels they have no corporeal bodies and are immortal…but by being 'made flesh' in the swine they could now have a 'true Death' and not be 'cast into Darkness'
This means Jesus defied the Will of his Father by allowing an 'Uncreation' to occur
