I have a hard time sharing the Gospel with my family and feel bad about it because the disciples were killed because they did it. I don’t even have enough courage to witness to my family. Only my two younger sisters know, the rest of my family doesn’t.
Please pray for me. I am so scared to preach the gospel. I am constantly disobeying god. I hate it. God hasn’t given me peace, he has only given me the opposite. Before I asked god into my life I was happy. Now I am in constant fear. Please pray for me
What if a person comes up to me and asks why I wore a band that said "Jesus loves me" ? I would feel ashamed and embarrassed, but even if I felt embarrassed I would be open to tell them why instead of trying to hide it although I felt scared about telling them. Is that how I can overcome the fear of when I feel ashamed of the gospel & scared what people would think about me when I talk about Christ?
Basically even if I felt scared and ashamed, I'd still tell them the reason. Is that how I can overcome my shame for sharing the gospel? How can I stop being afraid of what people think about me when I share the gospel??
It’s my Grandma Carmen‘s birthday this Saturday. She’s on my dad side and I really didn’t know her very much grown up we’ve only talked a few times, last time we spoke was Mother’s Day a few days ago, and spoken to her since I was little and I said happy Mother’s Day and she actually told me she love me. She’s from the Caribbean so she’s kind of hard, but I really want to share with her the gospel because no one else her family to me seems like they have, and the fruits of her life tell me that she’s not saved. I really just want to make sure because my dad keeps telling me she has health problems, and she’s turning 87 this Saturday. It’s hard because I don’t want her to get upset, and because she’s a Caribbean woman she’s just kind of intimidating, I also don’t want my dad getting upset with me for talking to her about those things.I’m 17. The end of the day it’s not about me.Please pray for me and her, and my dad on that side of the family.
