Most states you can’t buy a handgun from a ffl if you’re not from the state you’re in.
The thing about regulating guns like they regulate cars is that cars aren't a right.The second amendment is a constitutional right. You shouldn't have to have a license to exercise a constitutional right. You don't need a license to exercise Free speech even though they're trying to do more of that with permitting and all that crap. You don't need a license to get an attorney or to deny searches and seizures. You don't need to buy a license and get training to a right to speedy trial. These are birthrights. The government doesn't give us those rights. The founding fathers didn't give us those rights. Neither did the constitution. The Constitution just recognized that we were born with these rights.
