Bruh with these protests, I think it’s kind of a bad idea. A spike in deaths because of spread means longer lockdowns, I would assume, because it’s back tracking phases. Every state has different circumstances, so a place like NYC definitely shouldn’t reopen imo. Hawaii is pretty mild, so that’s a different case vs California etc. Government is also taking way too long to provide stimulus checks to people who need it, it's rude. 🙏 Also in my opinion, landlords shouldn't charge people rent if people aren't getting their stimulus checks simply as that.
There are almost over 250k deaths world wide. Imagine if we didn’t lower the curve and we herd immunity through it without lockdown, that shit would bump the curve up, it would be insane. All life is important, and people that skip that fact trip me out. Extroverts begging to go outside is first world problems in my opinion.
We don’t want to overwhelm the hospitals. The real work being done is by the scientist scrambling to create vaccines or a cure in a short amount of time of something that is unknown to human ever in history. It's a friggen alien in a way that's chemical structure is way beyond us. They gotta do some genius ass shit bruh. Let them be. We don’t want to take away focus and money. That’s the real action to get rid of it, through science, not shaking the ground imo and overwhelming the system. They’re doing the super complicated stuff, gotta respect them and do your easy ass part of staying inside.
Healthcare workers that will have to care for the people that get sick is gonna be hard for them. I rather have people be peaceful, and for the police to be peaceful. The people that are gathering like this are risking it all for their own lives and their families. Do you think the physical pain to go through it is easy? Nah man super scary like a bad trip. Not for us but for the vulnerable and relatives.
There was a small protest/rally thing that came around the neighborhood and it was low key hilarious but.. bruh. People that say it’s a low mortality rate, although true, it’s asymptomatic which means we could affect the vulnerable, which there is a lot and we should consider them too. It spreads fast which means it’s a stealth killer. All life is important, and people that skip that fact trip me out.
It’s only temporary. We were so close. If people want to lay in the park in the sun, that’s totally fine… everyones chill and the sun feels good bruh.. as long as we all have a humble understanding that you’re risking it if it’s there’s too many people.
And come to think of it, this is herd immunity against our own will now bc of the protestors… if there is a bump in cases, who knows what could happen.. it could evolve and hit way harder for us.
And then who knows what will happen. Longer lock down bc of the protestors. Government becomes more strict. Amount of cases spike. Protestors come back out angry forgetting the fact they're spreading it again?

I don't understand what Americans cannot comprehend when it comes to a pandemic. Why the urge to act recklessly? It's a fucking pandemic. It doesn't give a shit about how you feel. Look to your government for financial security. Protest that not the pandemic.
