Further tips on how to handle an angry unbeliever heckler when sharing the Gospel:
-Always go out in twos or more and try and get the team members to gently remove the heckler if he is being unreasonable and hindering the street preaching instead of helping.
– If they begin to get crude or blasphemous remember not to cast your pearls before swine.
-Take it as an opportunity to show grace, never become irate back.
– Try and get their name so you can interrupt them easier when they begin long rants.
– Confess yourself state your sins and how you are by no means perfect but forgiven by the grace of God, they will appreciate your vunerabilty and won’t see you as morally sanctimonious (this works very well in 1:1 setting also)
– Let them spout everything they want to say at the beginning, theres no point battling to be heard plus the crowd will see you are willing to listen to his arguments also.
– Try your best to leave them with a contact number or tract once the emotions die down he will reflect and you don’t know how the Spirit of God will work on that person.
– Rejoice 11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.(Matthew 5: 10-12)

Good insight. I was thinking the same thing. I've had a couple conversations with atheists and I've noticed that they put a lot of blind faith into the words of scientists who have personal agendas of their own. Therefore there's a lot of emotions and a lot of ego.
I understand that there are a lot of fans of Leonard Ravenhill who hang around this channel. His son David Ravenhill will be coming to speak at my church some time this spring. So young and yet so wise! I've always liked this contradiction in you. It's a God-given contradiction. Isn't it?
I wanted to add that when we used to do street outreach and handed out pamphlets, we used to do spiritual warfare first. We used to bind in Jesus' name every deamon in the air to stop it creating havoc. And while one was talking, the other(s) were still quietly fighting in the Spirit.
