I have never really encountered people who hate Jesus those that believe in him I have found are followers of him and people who disbelieve in him do not seem to hate him they simply do not believe he is real, what I have found is that people usually hate what is done in the name of Christianity or religion itself if you want the bigger picture, given what has been done in the name of Christianity in the past and some of what we hear preachers doing in recent times and how the churches cover it up then it is easy to understand why they would form negative views of Christianity.
No University could train for this. Only great mentors and experience. Keep on running the race Joe! Seek wise counsel within.
