In MY opinion she still looked hot when she was heavier; some guys call a chick fat if shes north of 120 pounds or her waist is bigger than 14 inches which i don’t agree with. But if Adele FEELS healthier and PREFERS how she looks now more power to her. Certainly no reason to fit shame her
I think people believe she had surgery, and multiple surgeries, but wasn’t forthcoming about it. That is also a part of the anger.

That doesn't make sense that people would push back against people saying that Adele's new look is beautiful. First off, it doesn't insinuate that she wasn't beautiful to begin with. But lets set aside looks because saying she's beautiful doesn't necessarily have to mean someones looks. You could just as easily look at the health aspect, being overweight isn't a good thing and losing that weight is a beautiful thing to do for your health and longevity. It's also sad because if a guy is very overweight, and if he loses that weight and perhaps puts on a bunch of muscle and gets all lean. Saying that he looks really good now, isn't going to be an insult in any way at all.
Someone who was once overweight, shows a photo of her losing that weight, thru hard work, exercise and diet, it truly speaks volumes about the state of our world that a photo like that becomes controversial.
Each of us are unique and there is no need to say one is better. Where you are is ok no matter what it is. It maybe be killing you but it’s ok, you can still choose something else, or even choose to die. Everyone has Preference yes, but not everyone’s preference is the same. See the problem is when people want this perspective, but aren’t honest with themselves about what they want.
In a future world our bodies will be more fluid and we will choose exactly how we look without having to inflicting self violence, then we will truly be able to say this is my choice. until then it might be fair to say I am working towards something, Or even to acknowledge that your body isn’t your preference. That’s not something horrible it’s just where you are at.
Some people may still genuinely choose to be very fat. Great story in autobiography of a yogi about an enlightened fat man who gains a pound every year he lives. He’s always getting arrested for public nudity cause he doesn’t like clothes. 😂 I think the future of humanity will include quite a few shape shifter type people.
