I want to serve God
So…give up? Give up my job, that I was given back TWICE? Help a man who doesn't even LISTEN to his own boss?! Give up reading fanfiction and video games to ESCAPE the CHORE that is my job sometimes?! GIVE UP EVERYTHING THAT MAKES ME content to live another day?! To go out in the wilderness with NOTHING and swear at no one, look at no beautiful women and live like a homeless person. To take away EVERYTHING that has so far been pretty good? I read the Bible as often as I can lately before bed. I try and pray and hope for an answer. I am TRYING to be as patient as I can knowing everything comes with the Lord's time but, what? I can't curse because I'm angry? I can't look at a girl and think of say she is beautiful just as the Father made her? I can't play games or read fanfiction because it's not the Bible? I can't do what makes ME happy because I and I alone worked for it? I know I'm blessed to live each and every day. I know I'm blessed to have my job. I know I'm blessed because I have a roof and a home to go to. I know I'm blessed because of the work I put in at my job gets me paid. So Joe, what else do I need to give up to make Him happy?
They honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. Jesus asked do you love me, if yes obey my commandments. We are saved by obedience alone through discipline. You gettin' all worked up. Romans 3:11 no one is seeking God. This is NOT complicated, if anyone does not wish to seek God don't pretend you do. On J day it will go really bad for you.
I want to follow Christ but I just keep thinking of all that I have to loose, my friends, my dreams because I know what God is calling me for and it's the total opposite from what I want to do.
