1:49 I suppose it depends on the type. Unfortunately now days,for the most part,the only Truely Pure journalists are independent. If they work for any of the media companies,to include the modern 'Social' brands,then they're mostly likely being heavily restricted & micro managed.
Sure you may have some bloggers,some Nit-Twitt's & some Metabookers putting out some intriguing content. Yet let them gain enough followers & you'll notice they start changing their tune,or fade into the forgotten.
Sadly all it takes is offending the appropriate contributors &/or share holders,then they realize how little freedom they have.
Say want you want so long as the Powers that be can still laugh @ it. For when they stop laughing,truth be told none of us have freedom of expression. It is not something we are born with.
Only reason most don't agree is cause they inherited upon birth the logic that it is an inalienable right. Particularly for us natural born Americans,none of us alive has had to stoke that flame which bears light upon the darkness of opposing logic.
Yet in our recent times that darkness has been steadily creeping,encroaching around that flame. Threatening to deprive it of the very oxygen it requires to burn. For the flame is not eternal. It must be properly fed & cared for,& if/when needed,even stoked to burn brighter while beating back that encroaching Darkness!!!
