Okay, getting off the subject here a little. Something that I hear repeatedly is the mention of different versions of the bible., the American version, the International version. Why are there so many different "versions" ? Which one is the real one, how can we be sure we're reading the " true" version? This is why I find it hard to trust the bible. It seems "man" has tampered with it, so how can I know which words are God's words and which are placed there by what some man deemed worthy to include in the text? Any thoughts or ideas on this would be appreciated.

So based on this in the eyes of Christians free will doesn't exist? Because if to them if you dont follow god you must be possessed by demons making your choices for you or your being guided by god….making your choices for you.
So no matter what your just a meat puppet waiting for divine intervention to actually accomplish anything with your life.
Thats a sad sad existence and even if he was real i would rather go to hell the serve such a obviously childish god.
My god doesn't judge, my god exists within me and within all of us, he is what people call the soul. God isn't up in the clouds with a god complex like the bible likes to depict. God experiences life threw us because why would you build the universes greatest amusement park and not go for a ride.
Once you die you are reincarnated, thats not a theory or a belief thats actually a fact. We have known for forever now that reincarnation was real because we have mountains of proof for in compared to the hills of proof thats never consistant about heaven.
But religions like christianity get in the way of truth being spread, i mean christianity is 80% the reason we are still being kept in the dark about aliens because its them that would react the worst because christianity would come crashing down if the fact that aliens do exist was made public because that would contradict everything about the bible.
Fun fact aliens exist, no not space traveling aliens because no matter how advanced thats impossible. But they do exist, we actually have alien fish living in one of Saturn's moons. We haven't seen them yet but scientists are 99% sure they are there we just don't know how complex of life it would be yet.
In the end Christianitys entire purpose for existing is control and the bible itself spells that out clear as day.
