so…when God created the light…he pulled it from (himself) death; nothing…by people pulling away from God or not knowing God they are pulling away from the light (the TRUTH) and going into the darkness…knowing nothing but the lie and death…dimming the light…veil…God is revealing or UNVEILING (revelation) the truth!
OMG! Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches. My mother went to the school, not just the church. She has told me that they didnt have dances because they believed it was bad. Just interesting about the dancer…it never made sense to me. Just a thought…the physical veil women are told to wear to cover their hair. That began with the rabbis or leaders right? First because of the Watchers and from what I understand the ancients believed the hair was connected with sexuality in the sense that the hair on the head was believed to create some kind of pulling force…causing semen to be pulled up into the uterus. weird belief but <shrug>. anyways…how do we separate out the rules create by man and only live with the laws/morals of God? I see the veil of the ancients mirrored in the turbans and full coverings by women today. To me it was man blaming the women for their moral weakness. I read recently in a book Im reading that a lot of scholars have the understanding that the women by beautifying themselves attracted and led astray the Watchers that came down. However when you read the account you clearly see that the watchers are looking DOWN (from heaven) and seeing that the women were beautiful. They then made the plan (intentional) to choose a wife for themselves and beget children. They swore an oath to each other binding each to the other to commit this transgression. And they knew it was a transgression because they mention punishment. They THEN taught the women and their children the forbidden (held back or not taught by God…YET) knowledge. Clearly they taught the beautifying techniques AFTER they slept with the women of their choice. It was clearly not the womens fault the Watchers fell. Women cannot help how they look.

What Stan said about the written WORD makes sense. Adam and Eve didnt have a written record of the WORD. They spoke witb God and and received the LIVING WORD…unchanged; same response each time…probably taught in different parables each time but the same idea. I believe Enoch was given the first written record. It was most likely spread by word of mouth for the non-holders of the records. Then after the flood the "first" civilizations began to write down their stories and beliefs. We now give credit to those civilizations for the first accounts and say that the accounts of Enoch were copied or taken ideas from these other civilizations which is backwards…and altered by these first civilizations; corruptions.
