The subject is very informative. However, the music is too loud in the background.

Melchizedek is talked about in book of Enoch
I usually get annoyed when listening to opinions regarding Melchizedek. This video was no different. Melchizedek’s genealogy is not ignored in the Bible, particularly the New Testament. Many scholars from seminary, being robbed by the philosophies of men, have somehow been convinced to simply not believe the epistle as it is written. Melchizedek genealogy isn’t ignored or absent, it is non-existent. Period. Hebrews 7 says this in 3 ways, 1)without father, without mother, 2)without the descent 3) having neither beginning of days or end of life
Melchizedek also never died. That is plainly written “as it is witness that he liveth” and “abideth a priest continually”
A specific criticism in Hebrews 7 against the Levi priesthood is that there were many priests because they died. If Melchizedek died, then his priesthood is no more perfect than the one of Levi which makes Jesus’s position according to the Melchizedek order a moot point.
The reason the seminarians and there adherent simply want to avoid the non-existence (not merely ignored) and explain it away as deliberately ignored is they want to avoid the obvious. If Melchizedek was never born nor died, neither had beginning of days of end of life, there is only 1 individual in all of history that can meet that stipulation—God himself. And for some reason they don’t want that, see John 3:19 for the explanation.
If you want to be talked out of believing they Bible, go to seminary, they’ll do an excellent job for the right amount of money and save you all the headache of coming up with reasons yourself while still avoiding labeling yourself as atheist. Why label yourself as one when you have the best of both worlds, disbelieve the Bible yet be religious.
Noah’s son named Seth is not recorded. Noah’s sons are named Japheth, Shem and Ham. Adam had a son named Seth.
