Every decade has its vitamin or supplement. There were Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, Beta-carotene, garlic pill, blue-berry pill, manganese, Vitamin A… And now Vitamin D.
Not only can it give you strong bones, it might also prevent cancers, help in depression, strengthen immunity, slow aging, …
All vitamins are touted as almost magical when they are in fashion. Of course you need Vitamin D, just like you need other vitamins and minerals, but I am sure its powers are exaggerated.
Started listening to this inside the house but, by the end of the video I ended up outside sunbathing with my animals lol.
She's really pretty
Melanin absorbs UV light while also protecting from cellular damage caused by UV.
Maybe this woman is trying to discourage melanated people from migrating to the global north.😂😂😂😂
The reason Black people are now experiencing lower vitamin D is due to lifestyle, to much time in doors and using skincare products with PF sunscreen. Blacks tend to have denser bone mass and are far less likely to developed osteoporosis. This is due in part, to our bodies naturally synthesizing vitamin D when exposed to the sun.
