  1. Repetitive sin doesn't send you to hell. God is no longer counting our sins against us (2 Corinthians 5:19) and no sacrifice for sin remains that God requires or accepts for our sins (Hebrews 10:17-18). The question to ask yourself is, "Why are you repeating that sin?" Most of us sin because we are looking for love, acceptance, meaning, and/or purpose from sin that we don't believe we are receiving from God. Once you figure out what you are not believing then you will begin to see sin diminish in your life as a byproduct of receiving from God what He designed you to receive from Him. Meanwhile, remember that you are a child of God not because of the absence of sin, but because of the presence of your God.

  2. The process of sanctification takes far more than one lifetime, for everyone. Especially for those who think they've arrived at perfection. (There's no reincarnation or do-overs. Just perfection isn't the goal. Loving God & knowing Him and His Son Jesus Christ through the power of the cross is the goal.)
