On some real shit, growing up as a snowboarder, we were always treated like the misfits. Posh people skii'd, young people double laced up on one blade. So, we lived, eat, breathed snowboarding. When those sloops melted, we had nothing to do so we connect with skateboarding and their version of rebel life. So, when it was warmer months , we were slamming Tony Hawk pro skater and tring to learn how to skateboard (Not the same, I was terrible) the X games in the late 90's was PUSHING boundaries every year. I remember were I was in 1999 the day the 900 happened. It was fucking magical when it did. For a second we all was not sure if he stayed on and then replay, we all went nuts!! That 900 in the summer pushed us to bigger and more technical tricks in the winter. Tony Hawk is a boss!! He is a living legend in all extreme sports.
