Hey Joe. I too had a car accident in which i flipped a two-door car which caught on fire with myself and two friend still inside. Upside down in came to rest in front of a 'fire station.' The next day i went to see if anything was salvageable where they toed it to, well all glass was blown out , instrument panel melted, and through the ashes i say a piece of paper under the ashes, curious i picked it up and when i turned it around i say a Holy Card with the Blessed Mother holding the Baby Jesus with no sign of being in the fire except for the back side being burnish. Blessed we were as no one was hurt…
161. ANGELS ARE OUR FRIENDS
As we walk this Earth we are never alone
We have Angels watching over us from birth till we are
full grown.
Angels are our friends that travel wherever we go
They will try to instill into us what they do know.
That is there job to watch over us from above
They take great joy when we grow into God’s Love.
They know Our Lord much better than we
For it is His face they are allowed to see.
Free will is a gift we both do share
Our Lord has bestowed this to our care.
With the outcome ultimately being Heaven or hell
We should take advise from Ones who know God well.
So trust your Angels to guide you right
For they lead you back into God’s sight.
160. ANGEL BESIDES ME
Angel besides me I need nor fear
Your message to me is becoming ever so clear.
My Lord knew I would need protection as I walked
this Earth
By His wisdom He has ordained you my Guardian
from birth.
A life long companion to accompany me along every day
You were there with me as I learned how to play.
We were there as lull-a-bye changed to song
You patiently waited for me to learn right from wrong.
As my choices grew harder in this life to make
You silently encouraged me on what direction to take.
Now that I have grown closer to Our Lord it is easy
to see
How very precious this gift God has bestowed upon me.
My Spirit has grown from the encouragement you gave
I know not to have fear of what is beyond the grave.
For Jesus my Savior has promised me one thing
That Love for Him Eternity will bring.
And that is where I will come to see my Angel so clear
The one who walked with me every step while I
was here.
On new years my wife and I were in this accident…


My wife fell asleep and we hit the end of a concrete barrier and rolled 3 times across a bridge. You see the barrier cut through the floor where i was sitting. We are both untouched, not even glass scratches but what i want to tell you about all this is what happened in the car but i have to start with why. Please give me this one chance to explain…
We both have lived terrible lives i wont even begin to describe, it doesnt matter. The point is we have not been goodie goodie people all bout Jesus our whole life or something. But life brought us to a place where we wanted to know if He was real and who He was. So thats what we did. And we dove all the way in. It has been the hardest road imaginable but then He showed up. He showed up long before this wreck but Im not going into all that either here.
Heres what happened in the car…
When that car hit that barried we went airborn and rolling violently but I swear to you it was instantly quiet and calm and there was the most loving sense in the car you have ever known instantly. Our bodies were not being jarred around, our heads did not get whipped around, it was as though we were on a couch in a quiet room and i instantly looked over at my wife and put my hand on her shoulder and said "its ok" and said Jesus' name 3 times calmly and with a smile. We never once even felt an impact and my wife heard my words clear as day even though it should have been loud and violent in and out of the car. It chipped out the concrete the two places it hit rolling down the bridge. We were literally seperated from the physics happening around us and held through it.
The officers and paramedics that showed up did not understand how we were in that car and how we were the people they were talking to. No panic, untouched and no adrenalin even. Clear as day and calm and telling them what happened inside the car.
This is not the only experience like this. Its almost daily now days we experience some form of His supernatural hand moving in things around us now and often to us directly. This particular situation was one of the greatest and was merely to strengthen what we already know and a hug for being so faithful to keep seeking through very hard times these last couple years and not giving up. The most important part of why He gave us this experience though was to share with others.
Is it bad when people pray to St. Anthony to help them find a lost thing? My Sheryl does this when things go missing, we look and look and its nowhere to be found .. she will pray to St. Anthony and then BAM! Its sitting right there in plain view! I promise this happened several times I witnessed.
