Ray comfort has set down a great approach here with the good person test. Very effective.
Probably good to ask him would he go to heaven or hell and then ask him what did God do for guilty sinners so we wouldn’t have to to go there?
I also recall Ray also mentioning that they dont know when they’re gonna die so there’s a sense of urgency to act.
I felt this important because this man was still speaking about his god of love who doesn’t judge and to love yourself at the end.
But I fully appreciate it’s difficult in the moment to think clearly. God bless you for being out there Joe
Jesus Christ told the parable about the wedding banquet where at the last moment everyone worthy was invited. one showed up in street cloths and was thrown out. Why? He was telling us that everyone who accepted Jesus and lived the way God wants you to (wore the celebration clothes)is welcome. But those who accepted Jesus but still covered themselves with sin was not.
Like in the days of Noah, everyone went about doing what was right in their own sight. Never seeking the will of God, they became a curse unto themselves. Jesus is our Only Redeemer.

Here’s some cold hard truth I learned from the Bible, God wants us to suffer in life, he doesn’t care about our joys, he loves us when we’re in pain, the more pain we’re in, the more god loves us, god doesn’t give a damn about our desires, he hates a happy person, even in heaven, god doesn’t give a damn about what we want in heaven, most of us get nothing in heaven, if you’re lucky, you may get a worthless shitty crown, that’s all. You christians couldn’t agree with me more, I’m speaking truth, the utter harsh truth I tell you!!
