My relationship ended because my girlfriend kept talking about Jesus non stop and I ended up "dreaming" of Jesus being in my relationship like a 3 way relationship, so even if I totally advocate for Christian values, there's a place where we have to keep Jesus at the church and let people live their lives.

When I started to read the Bible as an adult, I was quite surprised by what Paul had to say about himself and single people. It is my experience that the majority of Christians still find single people to be somewhat deficient and perhaps even failed in life due to not having a family of their own. I am from a very small country and everyone is constantly reminded of the importance to procreate and how failing to do so virtually makes you a traitor. I think this sentiment has a lot to do with why people (Christians included) often rush into marriage and may end up disappointed and even eventually divorce. It seems to me that single people and their efforts are not really appreciated by the general public nor by Christians but at the same time it also seems that God doesn't see it that way. We really need to seek the Lord to find out what plans He has for every single one of us. I suppose most people are better suited for married life, but especially as Christians we should also recognize that it is very much possible to live a fruitful and blessed life as a single person.
