as I find myself in this wrestling match with God right now ,this story speaks to me . I deal with this loneliness and lack of trust in spite of the fact that I know God .He has revealed himself to me clearly to be my provider and protector yet i find myself doubting him at every turn and my emotions show this and my actions follow🤦♀️ . I get angry with him because here I am studying (in depth) genesis and yet I'm still wrestling ( like thats sopposed to make me great or something 🙄🤦♀️🤦♀️ but if you knew me thats a miricle ). it's proof that it is by God's mercy and grace alone am I chosen and get to know him. Though I can be like jacob at times , thinking I can strong arm God into giving me what I want ; it's his will and love in my life that keeps me , meets me ,and fills me . thank God for that . ❤
