This guy has an imagination and seems not to want to tell the truth about meeting Elvis because at the time he was just Barbara Streisand's boyfriend/hairdresser. I don't know why he says Elvis was 100 lbs over weight in early 75 but it might be the same reason he said he wrote a remake of A Star is Born, exaggeration of his story. Elvis didn't want to do the movie after thinking about it and had the Col ask for a lot more than they would be willing to do. So who said F you to the offer and I'm sure Peter's wasn't allowed to be in the conversation with Col anyway. His being a producer for the first time was the first red flag and Barbara had a reputation for being not a great person to with was another reason to make sure they would have to turn down the Col. Col didn't budge or negotiate so that tells you everything.
So if Elvis was a hundred pounds too fat why did he want him for the movie. Nonsense

Sadly Michael Jackson hardly ever comes up much now in conversations across the board .
