  2. Joe Kirby is completely wrong. I am an Indian American. My relatives in India believe that eating beef is wrong. My American friends do not. My Indian relatives believe wearing a bikini on the beach is wrong. My American friends do not. If God exists and all powerful and all-knowing, these kinds of different moral codes should not persist for thousands of years. There is no God. Morality comes from society, not from a higher power.

  3. 96. NO STRANGER TO PAIN

Our Lord and God is no stranger to pain

His death on the cross was most ignominious and inhumane.

He was unmercifully flogged and made to wear a crown of thorns

All the while suffering our rejections and scorns.

He was nailed to a cross fashioned by the hands of man

His death was the only thing we knew to demand.

Then a spear was thrust into His side

To assure no possibility of life could reside.

And yet, with His dying breath, the words that came through

FORGIVE THEM FATHER FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO.

Sin was the reason for this merciless death

It can rob us too of our very own breath.

Sin can make us do things that are hideously cold

It can take the life right out of your very soul.

We all do remind Christ of His suffering and pain

When it is with sin we choose to remain.

For Christ came here to take sin from us

To lead us back to Our Father’s trust.

His cross is here to remind us of what He went through

To forgive our sins, so we can live life anew…

  4. About 20 years ago, a group of people did a very great wrong to me. Afterwards I prayed earnestly to God and saying I was finding it very hard to forgive these people. I prayed about it for hours, then a voice came to me, I believe was God's voice, said to me " I will judge" .God telling me to forgive and forget , because ultimately, He will judge them.
