I talk a lot of crap about why we didn't go to the moon but in reality I don't really know if what I'm saying is true or not but the real reason why I don't believe is because we didn't have the knowledge or know how to do it. I believe it was a power trip to be the number one country on the planet and number two is not an option. Russia sends a satellite to space we land on the moon or at least make them think we did. They don't give a crap what we think about it wether we did or didn't so long as Russia does and keeps us on top. I mean there weren't any rovers on the moon to take analytics and relay back through analog to know what to expect when we got there. It's all bs but if the rest of the planet believes it then goal is obtained.

  5. Forget 80s, I saw it for the first time after Covid and it still got me! Such a psychological ride!!

    I remember watching some scenes here and there but never knew those were from this movie. It played deeply.
    (And maybe also cause all the aesthetics were nostalgic thus more relatable as i am a 80s kid who had similar clothes, haircut and trike! Or my sister or most female cousins worn similar skirts as those twins! Or the fact that for my 40th bday, even before watching this movie, we stayed at a similarly remote-ish isolated old historic hotel in Canada during winter but near end of ski season still surrounded by foot deep snow with barely 5-6 other couples! And the fact that my ex hated it despite it being the most expensive holiday, exclusive hotel and once in a life time experience!) 🤦‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️ 😹
