Came upon this today, several years after it was first released.
But it was needed today.
Not a wrong word, not a stumble of any kind, in this priceless and precious presentation from Joe…
One coda I can offer – my jar got filled with polluted water because I was following Joe in trying to look at / into the evil present in certain modern music – of course evil propelled along by rampant cheap sexuality to distract us from the darkness suffusing it.
I was trying to rise above, the cause seemed good, but that tide overwhelmed me and I was swept along by it.
This is Lent, and so the mix between devotion to Christ and the temptation of S*t*n is writ large, and I have raised my head far enough above the parapet to risk spiritual attack.
It came.
Thought I was strong enough, even though The Bible urges us to flee from lust.
I was not strong enough … but think on, my friends, about the ROUTINE dark dirtiness that fills so much music today – you cannot imagine it, and it is perhaps best that you cannot.
But millions and millions of our young take it for granted … it is normal, "everybody does it" background for them.
I write complex things on YouTube, but go into the belly of the Beast and you will see thousands of short, doting, loving, uncritically admiring, unquestioning comments, comments also suggestive of entranced obsession with and addiction to the "music" that is being produced – for all the world as if the singers are the prophets or messiahs of today, which of course they may be in the worldly, End Times context.
Such are the systems of the 1 John 5:19 world.
God help us with this, including by making me stronger.

The invisible candle! Catholics have "The Advent wreath". Each candle represents a sequence of virtues: Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. There is an invisible candle that nobody speaks about.
Let me explain the invisible 5th candle:
If you have no Hope whatsoever, the situation is impossible to resolve, then you will consequentially not experience the logical sequence of Peace, Joy and Love.
If however, you have; FAITH, that is the FAITH to believe that God is in total control, and that Jesus Christ in the Living sacrifice (see John 3:16) freely given to you for your personal salvation like if you were the last and only person in the world that mattered, then that FAITH, when there is no apparent hope to believe in Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Saviour and Redeemer will consequentially set in motion: HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE in your life!
FAITH, works like this:
Proverbs 3:5-6, which is a well-known passage in the Bible that advises trust in God rather than relying solely on one's own intellect or understanding. The verses read:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
John 4:14: "But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
This video is 2 years old and I've been seeking my lord Jesus Christ. I came across this video and it blow my mind. I live in Chicago and he mentioned Chicago. If this is a sign I don't know what is! Wow!
