You can't just jump up a class, win a belt and assume he's the GOAT. 1-2 years down the line, we won't mention him. He won a questionable split decision win over DJ, he won against a dehydrated TJ down a weight class, he won against an out of prime old Cruz. his only legit win was against morais, that too after getting a beating in round 1.
I'm not saying Cejudo is bad. he's definitely up there with the best but he SHOULD have begged for the 145lb belt! Had he got that and retired, he'll most definitely be remembered as a triple champ!
That being said maybe he requested and dana shut it down. Maybe he'll do a GSP down the road and fight for the 145lb when his body is ready.
My prediction Henry is taking time off to gain weight and get in great shape at 145 to compete for the title and become a real triple c.
