Instead of the cage there should be a circle line, 3 feet, then the cage. When grappling gets over the line, ref whistle, then bring them to stand up center face off. It would change the dynamics slightly, but would improve the game. Grapplers would make the adjustments.
grappleing's part of the game but you can fast forward the part where the 2 guys lump together against the cage and struggle for 3 minutes. Like Gathije said, "I'm an entertainer" only Khabab could make a Gaethje fight boring. Oh, that guy from canada with the white headband is boring too.

My God how this has aged.
Gaethe: I maintain distance. I hit him 4 times in the calf and he will be compromised, theres no way in the world he can take me down without the fence after that.
Khabib: Runs him down like a lion chasing his prey, gets hit like 10 ten times in the calf, still shoots for a takedown, takes him down WITHOUT the fence against him, submits him…..
