At the end, I really can picture joe telling the film crew with him “shut those cameras off we’re going commando on this fuckin thing” as he flips down his NVGs, then proceeds to thread his dead air suppressor on to the muzzle of his Arsenal SLG 31-61, and slowly disappearing into the dark

Heimo Korth (The Last Alaskans) had been butchering his moose for years using his Leatherman multi tool. . I think he uses the Super 300 model.. The "Alone" show would be more realistic if they allowed the players to carry a shotgun. Show me an Eskimo, Inuit or Athabaskan who doesn't rely on a gun.
