Here are a couple of interesting things to consider, man and woman would have lived forever if they did not break the Covenant. Now God set boundaries before Eve came from the rib, this is another story, anyway God told Adam under no circumstance to eat of the tree of Good and evil. So Adam knew the consequences if he did eat from it, than came Eve, I think it was for Adam to set the boundaries with Eve. Now the Serpent was very deception with Eve. So Satan knew that he could not prevail with Adam but with the woman, so the woman saw the fruit how it was pleasing to the eye, of course. Let us move forward a little, so in the cool of the day the Lord was walking in the Garden, He called for Adam( now God knows all, so He knew what happened) where art thou, Adam emerged from behind a bush, God ask Adam Y he didn't come upon being call. Now we know he was scared because they were naked, so Adam said the woman gave it and I did eat, than Eve ( what would happen if they had Repented) so Eve told God the Serpent beguiled her. Now God turns to the serpent that we think is a snake, and cursed him to do what he does already, to go upon thou belly all the days of your life and lick the dust of the earth. Now there were a lot beautiful creatures in and around the garden, Y slay him or cook him, U see it was not a serpent, the biggest, badass and beautiful creature was a dragon, because of his pride, Y would I say a dragon, go to Revalation and it say Satan the dragon of old. Now we know that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost was this not what God said before this ,Let US make man in our image after our likeness, a paragraph more that God made man in His own image. This is the Holy Trinity, so Jesus was in the Old Testament and a lot of other places in the Old Testament. Now getting to the thousand years, the tree of life will produce 12 different types of fruit, it will produce new fr up it every month than the leaves will be for the healing of the nations. I though the man ew Jersulem with new Heaven and earth will be after the 1,000. We will be with Christ on the earth for that time but after the 1,000 yrs Satan will be released for a. Short season. The Bible was not written to be taken literally. The Tree of Life is a metaphor for Adam and the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil for Eve.
The serpent of course was the fallen angel Lucifer. There was no literal fruit that was eaten, as Jesus said in Matthew 15:17-19
