I am so glad I got off drugs. I did everything I could get my hands on and as much as I could afford when I was young. I am so lucky that I didn’t have a life altering trip that left me as a shell of my former self. But I do have to admit my racing thoughts get the best of me some days, and my memory is fleeting at best. I know the drugs did something to my brain but it could have been so much worse.
Man, mental illness is always rough to see because of how it can just tear apart friends and families. The hardest part of it is watching the people around someone fade away from them while they suffer, not because they’re cold or apathetic, but because they can’t live with it even if they try.
well yeah, he was literally the front man for the band, pink floyd without syd became a very different kind of band, they didn't really have a front man per se, they would kind of alternate, but Syd was like a star, even without being famous you could see he had that quality. Im sure these guys thought Pink Floyd would be over without Syd. Of course, it ended up being the opposite, Pink Floyd became legendary.
