Shalom Brother Adam, as I was rewatching this in the am, when you were going over the passage where Moses messed up by not following the instructions that YAH gave him, which was to “speak” to the rock and instead he “struck” the rock twice, possibly out of frustration with the people, and because of this one time that he messed up, as you rightly stated YAHUAH is not a respecter of persons, the Spirit reaffirmed to me that YAHUAH also holds those in leadership positions to a much higher standard and thus even though throughout the 40 yrs in the wilderness this one time Moses slipped up, even so shows us how YAH also held Moses and Aaron accountable for these events. We actually see that just a few verses later, when Aaron dies on the mountain and his garments passed down to his son Eleazar, and also Moses just seeing the promise land but not going into it to take possession. Keep Shabbat’n and Shalom’n! Praise YAH!
