Relatable. I was super skinny and my mom was obese. (Not trying to be mean) She’d call us fat. She was extremely abusive. She wouldn’t feed us much. Most of the times friends parents would feed us. She even had a padlock on the door and in her room was most of the food. If we were hungry she’d say, “make a sandwich.” And most of the time the bread was moldy, no cheese, usually no condiments ketchup if we’re lucky and one slice of bologna. Never more than one sandwich. Or “I’d eat her out of house and home.”
Good god for stealing twinkies as a kid? That’s child abuse! That should be illegal! Those poor kids! They’re children!
