I met Maynard once and have been around him several times, all at wine events. While I'm a fan of his music, owning all of his albums and been to numerous concerts, I knew at these wine events he was there as a winemaker and wanted nothing to do with talking about or being recognized as a musician. I think him making wine is his alter ego and is a rejuvenating activity for him when he's not touring. And it is another creative outlet for him since being the lead singer for 3 successful bands was apparently not enough for him. His winemaking and restaurant endeavors are also him planning ahead for when the day comes that he stops touring, although I think that is many years out.
Jerome AZ!
Its in cottonwood. Jerome is a great place to be and own property, his wine is top notch. I think he has an art gallery as well
Undertow changed my life in 1995
