As a Christian who believes the veracity of the Exodus record in the Bible, I find it interesting how emotionally invested many Christians are in this site. Having done extensive study on the matter I conclude that while this site is very interesting it is not "the true Mt. Sinai." I don't think the traditional site is either. Neither this site nor the traditional site satisfies all of both Biblical and topographical criteria. There is no barely submerged "land bridge" at Nuweiba. While the depth is not as great as to both north and south, it is still 2,625 feet deep. The unusual rock "at Horeb" is almost eleven miles away from the proposed Mt. Sinai and on the other side of the mountain range from where it is said the people of Israel camped at Mt. Sinai. Getting from this rock to the camp of Israel would take a journey of some seventy miles to traverse a route that would be reasonable topographically. There is no place along the proposed route between Elim and Rephidim for the Red Sea camp listed in Numbers 33. These are just a few of the problems. The Exodus happened just as the Bible says it did. But it didn't happen here.
People mixing science and a religion 💀
Bedoines in Saudi Arabia have called the mount of Moses four thousands of years. They believe it and they are Muslim.
I think God does exist but I think God used tides to save Moses and the water was mabe tree or for feet above the land mass under water
