Shabbat Shalom everyone!. I have taught my family that pledging allegiance to a flag and singing songs of praise to a "country" are forms of idolatry. The image of the flag on the flag pole reminds me of the asherah poles spoken of in the scriptures.

The Enemy attacks marriage and goes after the children of believers so we must pray a hedge of protection daily and often.
Yes you are right Adam concerning (anxiety,worry,something that is of importance) about slaughter houses and abattoirs not just about the halal method of sacrificing to allah, but because in this greedy world in which we live in the food we eat and waste for us that consume and THOSE that do it to make money. My point mass killing of animals, and paraphrasing are we not to kill, slaughter a lamb, cow,goat and eat and whatever is left over to be burned, are we not just to slaughter what is needed for our families daily eating needs?
