  1. In these days, it's becoming less and less safe to even eat meat. Also, something to consider is something that someone once asked me: When you buy your organic meat, is the blood drained? So, it isn't clean even if it's organic! I was floored because that was something I never thought of. The blood is the perfect culture for bacteria in a dead animal when the blood is not drained and there are no immune responses at that point to stop or slow it. I also just found that fetal cow blood is used to make fake meat. That in itself speaks volumes with life being in the blood. That's also a sick though to think about, especially since these big companies may not even disclose to us that they're selling "fake" lab grown meat, which is not God's creation.

    The world's ways are so deceptive and money hungry, it's not funny and they have been known to even sell meat of an infected animal — animals with cancer, cutting the meat that looks good around it. We're eating that and those cells that are circulating in the animal's blood. Plus, they feed them GMO feed, have them living in dirty, cramped, inhumane areas with other infected animals. I still struggle with it myself and when I do buy meat, I soak it until the water doesn't have red in it anymore. There's YouTube videos on how to do that. For what it's worth, may as well use green lentils, which taste like meat, and make lentil burgers, sausage, lentil loafs, etc. There are some really good recipes out there for meat replacement really and not that hard to do. It's actually less expensive making meatless foods and you don't run out of the food to make it so fast. I'm going to share a real good hamburger (less) recipe below:

    1 can black beans
    1 can chick peas
    1 1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal
    1 can or 1 1/2 cups lentils (cooked)
    I cup sliced crimini mushrooms (or other beefy tasting mushrooms like portabello or porcini). I buy portabello or crimini and dry them out in the oven, then put them in a food processor and blend to a powder so they last long and I just use a few ounces of that because I live in the boonies and it's hard to have to drive 50+ miles to go grocery shopping frequently)
    1 cup shredded beets
    1/3 cup tapioca starch (flour). You can substitute this flour with flaxseed meal (ground flaxseed) 2 TBS mixed in 6 TBS water. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before adding. It works as a binder to hold the burgers together and is a good egg substitute. Or, if you don't care about using eggs, use 1 slightly beaten egg.
    1 tsp. salt

    1 tsp pepper
    2 TBSP. chili flakes (chili powder, for example or chili powders like chipolte)
    1/4 cup avocado oil

    Mix all ingredients in a strong blender or food processor, then form into patties. Makes about 10-12 patties. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 12 minutes on each side (24 min total) or fry in pan with some oil or cooking spray. Place on a bun with all the dressings, and viola!

    I only made these once, as it's a copycat from a video I watched somewhere on YouTube, writing the ingredients down. They truly are delicious. The video didn't give the amounts for each ingredient, but I guessed and they're still good. So, you can slightly adjust some of the ingredients to taste, and you don't have to worry about tasting the mixture because it's all edible as is — raw.
